All behaviour is communication. KidStart's behaviour consultants are BCBA-supervised and trained in applied behaviour analysis (ABA), positive behaviour support, and trauma-informed care. We don't just address what the behaviour looks like — we work to understand why it's happening and build skills that replace it.

What Behavioural Consultation Includes

All services are BCBA-supervised and delivered by registered behaviour consultants (RBCs) or behaviour interventionists (BIs) in our Burnaby clinic.

A comprehensive assessment of your child's behaviour, including functional behaviour analysis (FBA) to identify triggers, patterns, and underlying needs.

BC Autism Funding (AFP)

Behavioural consultation is a funded service under BC Autism Funding. Up to $22,000/year for children under 6, $6,000/year for ages 6–18.

Children & Youth Disability Benefit (CYDB)

BC's new CYDB program also covers behavioural services. Our intake team will help you understand what you qualify for and how to access it.
