About the Role

Kidstart Pediatric Therapy is looking for a compassionate and motivated Junior Behaviour Consultant to support children and families through behaviour-focused interventions. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills under the guidance of experienced Behaviour Consultants. This is an independent contractor position with flexible scheduling and opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Behaviour Consultants and families to set behaviour-focused, measurable goals for clients
• Conduct initial and ongoing behavioural assessments to understand clients’ needs, functioning, and progress
• Develop and document Behaviour Intervention Plans (BIPs) based on assessment findings and industry best practices
• Deliver direct intervention, consultation, parent coaching, and training to families, teachers, Behaviour Interventionists, and community partners
• Utilize current research to support evidence-based practice in all interventions and recommendations
• Participate in and support group programs as needed
• Carry out therapeutic activities under the clinical direction of a qualified consultant or therapist
• Assist in collecting, organizing, and maintaining accurate data records for each client

Qualifications & Requirements

• Maintain professional and ethical standards as outlined by the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• Must possess or be pursuing BCBA/BCaBA certification
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) as a Behavioural Interventionist
