1. Who this applies to

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at kidstartpediatrictherapy.com (the "Site"), operated by Kidstart Pediatric Therapy Inc., located at #220 - 3355 North Rd, Burnaby, BC V3J 7T9 ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Site or booking a therapy service through it, you agree to these Terms. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal and health information.

2. Services described on the Site

KidStart Pediatric Therapy provides pediatric allied health services (occupational therapy and related services) in Burnaby, Coquitlam, New Westminster, Langley, Richmond, and Greater Vancouver, BC. Descriptions and general information on the Site are informational only and do not constitute clinical advice or a guarantee of a specific treatment outcome.

3. Health information and consent

Information you provide through intake forms, booking, or email may constitute personal health information under BC's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where applicable, federal PIPEDA. We collect, use, and disclose this information only as described in our Privacy Policy and as needed to provide clinical services, and only with appropriate consent (including parental/guardian consent for a minor client). Clinical records are retained per the applicable professional college's record-retention requirements, not a generic website retention period.

4. Booking, quotes, and scheduling are not a guarantee of availability

A booking request submitted through the Site is a request, not a confirmed appointment, until we confirm it directly. Any fee estimate given on the Site is general information; actual session fees, extended health insurance coverage, and billing codes are confirmed at intake.

5. Payment terms

Payment terms are set out at intake and in any cancellation policy provided separately, and take precedence over anything stated generally on the Site.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of British Columbia, Kidstart Pediatric Therapy Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for clinical negligence, which is governed by professional standards of care and applicable regulatory college rules, not this Site.

7. Intellectual property

All text, images, logos, and design on the Site belong to Kidstart Pediatric Therapy Inc. or are used under license. You may not copy, reproduce, or republish Site content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

8. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party sites (review platforms, insurer portals, social media). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party sites.
